TaylorMade-Adidas golf is one of the largest golf club manufacturers in the world. It is a subsidiary of Adidas-Salomon A.G. (Also included in this stable of brands is MAXFLI and Russia,) In 1998 TaylorMade, Salomon and Adidas joined forces, this event brought together some of the most innovative companies in their fields. The Adidas Group is one of the world's largest producers of sports clothing and shoes, while Salomon is known as the worldwide leader in snow skis, boots, bindings and boards, and outdoor footwear.

The titleist ap2 712 irons are the brand's most forgiving forged cavity back design to become available in 2010. It looks fairly similar with the previous titleist ap2 712 irons but this one was said to have a wider sole, longer heel to toe length while maintaining a fairly compact top line and overall profile among some other aesthetic changes.

The new 712 ap2, which are designed for wholesale golf clubs low handicappers, Titleist has significantly increased the club's moment of inertia (MOI) by re-positioning tungsten weight within the heads. The overall goal was to better apply the different materials used in the design. Increased Playability through an advanced technology, multi-material, forged carbon steel body and high density tungsten weight design. Consistent Ball Speed and improved distance control on miss-hits from a 7% increase in MOI with no loss of workability or shot control. It improved Solid Feel from increased MOI and the tuned feel cavity insert. Precise Short Irons with reduced sole widths in the 8, 9, P for improved turf performance

I have played with Titleist clubs many years, and the 712 ap2 is really the good one to provide the good performance. I have kept the 2010 AP2 a long time, so I am always looking forward to a set of new irons to bring more improvements to my golf, and now the new Titleist AP2 irons finally come, I can’t wait to have a try these new irons. However, when I hold the golf set in my hand, I feel some disappointed, because the new ap2 irons are very similar with the old AP irons, not only from the appearance but also the design. I know May Titleist AP irons own the Tuned Feel System; it is a soft elastomer insert and aluminum plate, so it can provide the good sound and feel.

712 AP2 Irons, More Discounts

Dedicated to providing serious golfers with the highest performing equipment in golf, Titleist introduces the next generation of its groundbreaking Advanced Performance irons. The new Titleist AP2 Irons stay true to the design mission of "Advanced Performance with Feel." It is a multi-material, dual cavity iron that provides modern ball flight and forgiveness with the traditional look, feel, and sound that serious golfers have come to expect from a Titleist irons. The new AP1 model features sleeker contours that result in a better address position, and the iron has been improved with internal weighting that utilizes higher density tungsten in order to distribute mass more efficiently which increases the moment-of-inertia (MOI) without changing the CG location or the blade length. The higher MOI provides more consistent ball speed across the clubface and better distance control. Better distance control leads to more scoring opportunities and is the key to good iron play. Finally, this iron provides more forgiveness without any loss of workability or shot control.

The new AP2 712 looks pretty. Titleist has long used “700’’ numbers for irons for a long time. It uses 900 numbers for metal woods. The “7” stands for irons, while the “12” stands for the new model year, 2012. Acushnet says the feedback it receives during this validation process influences the design and specifications of the Titleist products available in golf shops around the world. No word yet on when the  AP2 712 irons is available at retail.

Titleist accomplished what they were trying to do. They made the AP2 irons more forgiving then the 710s and they still have great performance. The club face is a little larger than the 710s but still provides playability. Feels like butter when hit well. Geat irons for a wide range of handicaps. Titleist does not disappoint. Once I bought a pair of titleist 712 ap2 irons, at first I don’t think it will be very useful for me, after using a long time, I love this golf set, actually, I just hit less than two meters in the past, but now I can hit more than four meters, so cool for me, I decided to buy the other 712 ap2.
